Electrical power technicians are part of a highly skilled, well-paying career that keeps the wheels of industry turning! They perform preventative, corrective and overhaul services on complex industrial plant systems; solve equipment problems; and determine optimum equipment functioning.

The Electrical Power Technology program has the following options: instrumentation and control and electrical (ICE) specialization, mechanical and radiation protection.
The Electrical Power Technology program has specific admissions requirements. In addition to an admissions application, candidates must successfully pass a series of tests prescribed by our industrial partner, Florida Power and Light.
